Your Limitation? It’s Only Your Imagination.

Your Limitation? It’s Only Your Imagination.

There’s a quote I keep coming back to: “Your limitation—it’s only your imagination.” And today, I’m holding onto that reminder like a lifeline.

Living with Muscular Dystrophy means I face real, physical limitations every day. But what I’ve learned is that our minds can be even more powerful barriers than our bodies—if we let them. The doubts, the fear, the what-ifs—they creep in silently. But so does strength. So does resilience. So does purpose.

When I first started Girls Chronically Rock, it was born from a place of pain, but also deep passion. I didn’t want to be defined by my diagnosis—I wanted to design my definition. I wanted to build something that spoke to the strength within the disability community. A brand. A voice. A movement.

Muscular Dystrophy challenged me to pivot when plans fell through, to speak up when the world tried to silence me, and to create when everything around me told me to sit still. These challenges weren’t roadblocks—they were stepping stones. Each moment of frustration or fatigue became fuel for a bigger mission.

And yes, I still have days where I feel overwhelmed or uncertain. But every time I push forward, I’m reminded that this journey isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress.

So today, I’m choosing to reframe my “limitations” as opportunities:

To lead.

To inspire.

To dream bigger.
