Why I Created a Facebook Group for PCA, HHA, and Caregiver Connections

Why I Created a Facebook Group for PCA, HHA, and Caregiver Connections

As someone living with a disability, I understand how difficult it can be to find reliable Personal Care Attendants (PCAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and caregivers. Over the years, I’ve experienced the challenges of caregiver shortages, last-minute call-outs, and the stress of trying to find dependable support.

That’s why I created this Facebook community.

This group was designed to bring together individuals with disabilities, family members, caregivers, PCAs, HHAs, and agencies in one place where people can connect, share opportunities, and support one another.

Whether you’re looking for a caregiver, searching for PCA or HHA employment, or simply seeking resources and advice, our goal is to create a welcoming and supportive community.

Through this group, members can:

  • Post caregiver job opportunities
  • Connect with PCA and HHA candidates
  • Share resources and recommendations
  • Discuss caregiving challenges and solutions
  • Build meaningful connections within the disability community

Finding quality care shouldn’t be a struggle, and caregivers deserve a place to discover meaningful work opportunities.

Together, we can strengthen our community, support independent living, and help connect the right people with the right opportunities.
