Hello GCR Community! 💕
If you’ve been following my journey for a while, you know that Girls Chronically Rock has always been about so much more than a brand.
It’s about representation.
It’s about disability pride.
It’s about creating opportunities.
And most importantly, it’s about showing the world that people with disabilities deserve to be seen, heard, included, supported and celebrated.
I’m excited to officially share my 2026 Media One-Sheet and reintroduce myself and the work I’m continuing to build.
💕 So, Who Is Keisha Greaves?
I’m Keisha Greaves—a disability advocate, entrepreneur, adaptive fashion designer, speaker and content creator living with Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy.
After being diagnosed in 2010, my life changed in ways I never expected.
But those challenges eventually became the foundation for a much bigger purpose.
I founded Girls Chronically Rock to create adaptive fashion and lifestyle products that help people with disabilities and chronic illnesses feel confident, stylish and represented.
And the mission continued growing from there.
Today, my work extends into accessible transportation, caregiving support, housing advocacy, adaptive design, disability representation, speaking and community building.
♿ Girls Chronically Rock Is Growing
Through GCR Adaptive Solutions, I’m working to address some of the everyday barriers disabled people experience—including accessible transportation, caregiving support and access to practical resources.
Through the GCR Adaptive Project, I’m continuing educational and adaptive-design initiatives that bring disability inclusion into spaces where our voices are too often missing.
And through my advocacy work, I’m continuing to speak loudly about something that affects so many of us:
Accessible and affordable housing.
Because independence shouldn’t be a luxury for disabled people.
✨ From Fashion to Advocacy, and Everything in Between
I’m incredibly proud when I look at how far this journey has come.
My adaptive swimwear has been showcased at the Design Museum in London.
My fashion work has been presented through New York Fashion Week and Rhode Island Fashion Week.
I’ve founded Cambridge Fashion Week, collaborated with colleges and community organizations around adaptive design, and continued expanding GCR’s mission beyond fashion.
I’ve also had opportunities to share my story through media, podcasts and disability-focused publications.
But I’m nowhere near finished.

💭 Why This Work Is Personal
I don’t advocate for these issues because I read about them somewhere.
I live them.
I know what it’s like to navigate a world that wasn’t designed with my disability in mind.
I know what it’s like to rely on caregivers.
I know what inaccessible transportation feels like.
I know the frustration of searching for housing that is both affordable AND actually accessible.
And I know what it means to walk, or in my case, roll, into spaces where people like me are still underrepresented.
That’s why I keep talking.
That’s why I keep creating.
That’s why I keep advocating.
And that’s why I keep building GCR.
