Collection: GCR Disability Pride Collection
ππβ€οΈπ July is Disability Pride Month πβ€οΈπππ€
Β
At Girls Chronically Rock, we wear our disabilities with PRIDE. This month is about visibility, power, and embracing our identities, unapologetically.
Β
The Disability Pride Flag colors each tell part of our story:
Β
π₯ Red for physical disabilities
π‘ Gold for neurodivergence and cognitive disabilities
π¦ Blue for mental illness and psychiatric disabilities
π’ Green for sensory disabilities (blindness, deafness, etc.)
β¬ Black for mourning and rage, honoring those weβve lost and those who still fight for equity and justice.
Β
To me, each color is personal. I live this every day, through my journey with Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy, through my brand, and through the movement weβre building. Disability pride means showing up boldly, even when systems werenβt built for us. It means claiming our space, in fashion, in business, in politics, in media, in EVERYTHING.
Β
πͺπ½ We are strong. We are creative. We are changemakers.
And we rock, chronically.
